Please be aware of some very important dates:

As we prepare for next school year, I need to share with you a change in our policy for classroom requests.  
Because of mandatory legislation and the need to balance our classrooms, we will not accept any teacher request for 2012-13 school year.  If you have any questions regarding this issue, please feel free to contact me at school.

Announcements
  • Fall CASA Soccer Applications
    Fall CASA Soccer Applications are now available.  You can print an application from the CASA website or get one from the information rack in our lobby area.  Applications must be postmarked by Friday, June 25th.  This if for students that will be 4 yrs old by August 31st thru 7th grade. (Grade listed is the grade the child will be in for fall) 
  • Lincoln School Field Trip to Center Lake Camp Monday, June 4th!
    Lincoln School's field trip to Center Lake will take place on Monday, June 4th.  Your child's activity choices along with their $5.00 is now due.  Please note:  The student payment amount for this activity is $5.00. The school will cover the cost of $3.00 for each student from the fall candy bar sale.  The P.T.L. is assisting with the cost of bussing for this field trip.
  • Lincoln School Summer Activities for Students
    This time of year there are a lot of  registrations coming home for several types of activities.  All of the registrations have due dates and some are age specific.  Please watch your child's backpack for these.  There are also extra registrations in the rack in the lobby area.
  • Lincoln School yearbooks still available
    Lincoln School has a limited number of yearbooks for sale at a cost of $7.00 each.
  • Lincoln School Important End of Year Information
    As the school year starts to wind down, here are a few reminders:

    1. All medications will need to be picked up by the parent at the end of this school year.  Medications left after June 8th will be discarded.  Medications cannot be held over to next school year.

    2.  All food service balances need to end in a positive balance.  All balances (negative or positive) will be carried over to the next school year.  Please call 876-5014 if you have a question about your child's food service balance.

    3.  Please make sure the school has your correct address and phone number on file.  You won't want to miss out on any mailings that the school sends out!  If you will be moving over the summer and your child will not be attending Lincoln School in the fall, please let us know.

    4.  Our Lost and Found is growing!  Please have your child look for any "treasures" they may have lost!  All items left will be donated to a local charity at the end of the year!
  • Lincoln School Spring Music Concert for JK through 2nd grade, May 24th!
    Our Junior Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will present their music concert, "Animals" on Thursday, May 24th at 7:00 p.m. at the High School Auditorium.  The students should arrive no later than 6:45 p.m. as the concert starts promptly at 7:00 p.m.  The spring concert will feature songs about several different animals.  Students should plan to dress as their favorite animal; elephants, gorillas, monkeys, zebras, bats, birds, etc.  Please use clothing you already own or can easily borrow.
  • Lincoln School 4th grade students visit MTMS
    Lincoln School 4th grade students will visit MTMS from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30th. 
  • Lincoln School 4th Grade "Clap Out" June 8th at 11:30 a.m.
    All 4th grade parents are invited to attend the 4th grade "Clap Out" on Friday, June 8th at 11:30 a.m.  Parents should arrive between 11:15 - 11:25 a.m. to line the hallway. 
  • Lincoln School Last Half day of School Activities for June 8th
    Activities for the last half day of classes before summer break:
         9:00 - 9:30 a.m.- ACES
         9:30 - 10:30 a.m. - Mini Field Day
         11:30 a.m. - 4th Grade Clap Out
         12:05 p.m. - All classes dismissed for summer break
  • Lincoln School Morning Supervision of Students Begins at 8:15 a.m.
    Students should not arrive any earlier than 8:15 a.m. to school as this is when our morning supervision begins.
